Maruti Suzuki India Ltd launched a new look SX4, keeping the price unaffected. It is bid to strengthen its presence in the mid-size sedan segment, the car comes in two new colors serene blue and granite grey.
The new SX4 comes with many features including an all new touch-screen audio with included navigation with Bluetooth and muscular bumper with 2-tone front grill, fog lamp with dual-tone garnish and a modern design with a wide and stable stance. The price of all new version of SX4 remains unchanged in the range of Rs 7.38-9.79 lakhs.
The car, which has two engines options — the Super Turbo 1.3 litre diesel and the 1.6 Litre VVT petrol engine, has been launched with fresh exteriors and interiors and better performance.
SX4 was first launched in India in 2007. Diesel modification of the car was introduced in 2011. Till now, the company has sold over 1.08 lakh SX4 cars in the country.

Mahindra are now developing a new range of engines to power their existing range as well as newer models. According to a report from Auto car India, the range of engines will comprise three petrol mills and three diesel mills in the range of 1.2 to 1.6 litres. Mahindra is thought to be investing over Rs 4300 Crore in the development of the engines.
The Indian SUV major is also thought to be increasing its own five-speed and six-speed transmissions to go with the engines.
These engines are will power and the smaller vehicles are replace the obtainable range of mills, the larger 2.2 and 2.5-litre mHawk mill are expected to continue duty in the Scorpio, XUV500, Xylo and the Bolero. However, the mEagle engine is expected to be phased out once the new engines are launched.
