Hyundai Accent powered by a 1.6-liter direct injected four cylinder engine that puts out 138 horsepower at 6,300 rpm and 123 lb-ft. of torque at 4,850 rpm. It is direct injection equipment, and one of the few to offer a six speed physical transmission .Fuel cutback is rated at 28 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway with either gearbox.

Its features includes air conditioning, a six speaker audio system with Satellite Radio and iPod/USB auxiliary input jacks, power and heated body colored side mirrors, remote keyless entry, cloth insert door trim, body colored door handles and a sunglass holder. Those features come in addition to a standard six-speed manual transmission, a trip computer, 14 inch steel wheels and power locks and windows.

More content can be had with the optional Premium Package which adds navigation wheel mounted audio controls, cruise control, Bluetooth, premium cloth seats, piano black interior accents, slider center console, chrome interior door handles, fog lamps, 16 inch alloy wheels and rear disc brakes.

Typical safety equipment includes front, side and head curtain airbags, traction and stability control systems, electronic brake force distribution, brake assist and active front head fetters.
