New small cars to hit India for 2010

2010 would prove another interesting year for the automakers in India.

A couple of new players would try to take on the giants of the Indian market by launching small cars.
Ford would be launching their Figo small car.

Volkswagen would bring out their Polo hatchback.

Nissan Micra would also arrive in the first half of 2010 in India.

GM would launch Chevrolet Beat early next year.

Volkswagen is also said to be working with Suzuki on a new car that could replace Alto in the coming years.

Toyota would showcase their new small car for India next month at Auto Expo. This model could be launched by December 2010.
