Four years ago, the objective set was to use different Ferrari’s for different tastes but now the objective would change after the introduction of the Ferrari F12Berlinetta at the 82nd Geneva Motor Show. People at the Geneva Motor Show believe that this model would replace every single model in Ferrari.
Ferrari claims that its a compact car with a lower centre of gravity and aerodynamic efficiency. Instead of using carbon-fibre monocoque, Ferrari has worked with Scalietti to design an all-new spaceframe chassis using 12 different kinds of alloy. This increased the structural rigidity by 20 percent and decreased weight by about 70kg. Prices are not yet fixed but its expected to be about £250,000 and it will be available for sale at the end of this year or beginning of 2013.
