I must admit my 540i has done this to me....a bunch of stuff suddenly went wrong after it hit about 6 years old...but those things are physical and just fall apart. Even if you maintain the simple things... you won't go out replacing your transmission, radiator, suspension links, etc...unless they are needed to be changed .... but it's in poor taste to take a stab at guys in the comparison.
