BMW AG has become the most valuable Car brand in the world. A survey conducted by Market Research Company has revealed that BMW has replaced Toyota as the most valuable car brand.
In 2009 BMW value dropped 9% which is about $21.8 billion and Toyota�s brand value dropped by 27% which is about $21.8 billion. That put Toyota just behind BMW.
Millward Brown global brand director, Walshe said �Toyota’s brand has suffered in the recent months but it is trying hard to overcome the damage”. Our evidence shows that strong brands will definitely recover from a crisis.
According to the survey, the brand value of Ford and Volkswagen has improved. Volkswagen has increased by 20% and Ford has increased 19%. Both these makers are viewed as trustworthy brands than BMW and Mercedes due to their style, distribution and lower prices.
